for those who have done wheel bearings

It probably would work. You might need a longer bolt though.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that will be strong enough. I had a terrible time trying to get the hubs out, they were really stuck in there. Also, you'd have to verify that it will accommodate the size of the bearings; the 4.007 might be close.

And I agree with singtoe, that bolt looks a bit short for the double bearings of the 4runner.

Also, the press is only $30 more and is a much better tool. Why would you go with this one? The alignment isn't that big a deal.

Forget buying tools and pay a auto machine shop to do the bearings. I did my fronts last year and paid $20 each (in overpriced OC, Calif.) for them to press out old and press in new front bearings. Not even worth it to do yourself!!:thumb:

Also, have them do your upper ball joints while you are at it...lowers are easily done yourself.

Yeah, I have decided I'll just buy the 20 ton press. I will be able to use it for other jobs down the road.
