If anyone has recently bought a 2013, would you mind sharing what you paid and what options it has? I'm looking at a Limited 4x4 but the prices I'm seeing have me thinking these dealers are high on crack with the refresh right around the corner.

Feel free to PM if you prefer. Just looking for the price before taxes.

So I would call this $4,727 of MSRP, but the MSRP is pre-inflated with the add-ons. A dealer would say it was $5,236 off MSRP. Told the dealer to just make the processing fee $1,000 and give me a bigger discount. He didn't think it was funny.

Don't recommend the dealer I used. Second 4Runner in 2 years from them and the final purchase after agreeing on price sucked. Same old use car tactics to add in fees that I refused. I know you are in TX, but just want to warn anyone in my area.

Get a price on phone/email and print it off.

2013 LEs in my area are getting scarce, but plenty in the large metro areas elsewhere. Mine was at dealer since March, bought last week.

Unfortunately, there are no rebates or incentives that I know of. And, to be honest, I doubt there will be as 2014 reviews are not favorable and may prompt alot of people to jump on a 13'...of course, this is just my theory but it is the reason I purchased a 13' three weeks ago

Looking at what others paid, I think I probably overpaid. I bought a Blizzard Pearl two weeks ago. SR5 conv package, moonroof, cloth, no Nav, no 3rd row. We paid $34,500. Sticker was $36,410.00. I'm very happy with it. We previously had a 2012 SR5 loaded with prem pack, 3rd row and nav. It was very squirrelly at highway speeds almost to the point of being scary. The 2013 drives PERFECTLY. VERY HAPPY !!!

The dealer tried to "prove" with a "printout of his costs" that he would get ~$875 back from Toyota for the sale plus an additional ~$425 "But that additional was already spent as the car had been on the lot since June."
I held firm to my offer, he finally agreed.

I'm certain he made money and I spent less than most current published "what they are selling for" amounts.

It would be interesting to know how long it took to negotiate your price I.e. from when you first walked in to express interest/contacted the dealership and when you finally agreed to the price you are posting.

I don't have a new 4Runner but the last time I bought a new Honda I found the Edmunds forum helpful . I found the lowest price someone paid for the vehicle with options and emailed offers to several dealers. I never heard from my local dealer but a dealer about 10 miles from me took the offer and I was able to buy for about 8k less than local the dealers' lot! They had a sales associate dedicated entirely to online sales.

I did all my research before I went anywhere near the dealership that happened to be the closest to me.
Searched Edmunds/ KBB/ Consumer Reports for pricing information then I researched all available vehicles in a 200mi radius.
I knew what vehicles were probably available, options as best as I could figure out, and current MSRP vs "Invoice".

Walked into the dealership at ~1330 - drove out with new 4Runner at ~1830. That included 2 test drives comparing the 2x4 to the 4x4.
Actual negotiations over price took less than 60min.

Note - I was paying cash, no trade-in, no financing negotiations.

Interestingly they let me take the car off the lot with only $5000 on a CC with the promise I would mail them a check the next day!
