For those who want the "Black Pearl " look

I went to WalMart and bought a can of spray paint made by Rust-Oleum. The color is "Black Night Metallic". It REALLY looks Cool. Just thought I would let ya know.

Im sure it has been. As a matter of fact , I read the same thing on another web site. All I was trying to say was about the brand of paint.

For my "Black Pearl" I used Rustoleum's "Hammered Paint for Plastic". I couldnt find the testors paints (as mentioned in the other thread) anywhere in town. 3 coats of the black and 2 coats of clear coat over 3 days. It doesnt quite have the "luster" of other black pearl jobs Ive seen but Im content with it. I plan on mounting it with 3M mounting tape tommorrow. The pics are all of the same emblem at differing angles w/wo flash.

Finally mounted

Here are some pics of my "black pearl" emblem. Its a bit grey looking but I like the "hammered" look of the paint. 2 pics are with a flash, 2 are without.
