What audio set-up are you using? Currently out boat stock with 4 Sony speakers, and a sony HU. The HU wet out, I fixed it, but then it really went out, so Wal-Mart had a Sony HU on sale so I bought it, it has Aux Input and 52 x 4, so the HU im not looking to replace. Just the speakers? So, what do you boater recommend?

Nothing, wet a line and listen to nature.
Seriously though, I would just replace the speakers. And I wouldn't get fancy ones, either because boat stereos are destined to fail. Some crappy Billy Joel song out there has lyrics: "Don't waste your money on a new set of speakas' ya git more mileage from a cheap pair a sneakas'."
This applies to marine systems especially, unless they're enclosed below deck.
This is just my experience. Fishing, skiing and pounding a few brewdads = death to stereo.

Search online for Marine Speakers, there are some companies out there that make waterproof speakers especially for outdoor and marine applications. I have an 18.5' Cajun Fish/Ski boat and it has no stereo in it. I plan to put a small setup, just a CD player HU and a couple 6.5" components of some sort, just for something to listen to quietly when we go out to putt around. Havent used the damn boat in over three years though, at least not since my wife got prego with our first kid, which is almost three years old. Now we're too busy to go out, and with our three week old new baby, looks like I'll NEVER get to use the boat again :(

So, may be a while before I get around to putting any sort of a stereo in it LOL.....

LOL. Sorry to say but that sucks for you (at least from my perspective). I'm well aware about marine speakers, but I was wondering if people had experience with some good manufacturers. Better check on that boat though it may be gone lol :bugeye: But I got the boat out from under the canopy for the 3rd time, and started to clean it but yet AGAIN i was interrupted. But I can't wait to get started on modding the boat, I have been waiting to do some stuff with it. And now I gotta learn how to winterize/summarize because our marine guy really raised his proces so on to DIY stuff.

Yep it's still there, saw it what, three months ago??? LOL It's stored on my parent's property about an hour from here. They have 60 acres and it's on the back of the property where their house is. Nice to have that much land to store stuff!!!
