Just picked up my first T4R and am loving it. spent all day at the dealership haggling. I enjoyed every minute and feel I got a good deal. However, as I was driving home I realized they never took the $3k down payment! I'm not one to try and be sneaky, I just think it's pretty funny. Maybe I'll let em sweat it for a day or so. I'm sure their accounting will pick up on it and they"ll prob be calling tomorrow. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Those vehicle registration papers are serious entitlement. $40,000 bills, to be exact.

When i bought my vehicle, my stealership overcharged me and i didn't get a dime back.

Had a dealership that accidentally applied an "in-state trade" discount to my bottom line. They tried to hold my plates until I paid back the $500. Since the money was already agreed upon and the paperwork was signed I had a consumer protection lawyer fax a letter telling them to give me my plates or void the transaction all together and return my traded vehicle...was able to pick up my plates the next day. i guess what I'm saying is you owe them the money and if the plates come through the dealership you'll eventually have to pay anyway. Best to just do it now and not make a big deal about it. Making a friend on the inside may help you down the road.
