Forum email notification

Whenever I make a post I the email notification box is checked but I never receive an email letting me know someone here answered. This is far from my first forum experience, I'm everywhere. Any ideas? Where else should I check? In my user options email notification is set by default. I emailed the board admin a while ago but never got an answer.

Check your junk mail folder. Different servers will treat different forum emails differently. That's alot of differents. So check that they haven't automatically been sent to your junk mail folder or deleted automatically.

BINGO! Good call. Didn't even think if that. They're in my Spam folder, now I just have to figure how Gmail can un-spam this site. Thanks a ton!!

I guess with Gmail I just have to add this forum's email as a contact. Will someone reply anything and I can test this. Thanks.

Ok my turn...
I have the same issue but here is the kicker... I dont use my spam folder or Junk mail folder... why am i not getting the notifications that i have a reply..I have checked my settings and everything is set properly..
any ideas?

Do you use your ISP's "report as spam" button?

Thanks for the reply... No. I dont use any spam button at all i report nothing to my ISP. This USED to workl.. but all of a sudden it stopped..
Do you think i should I did have other issues here not too long ago.. Something with my acct was goofy it need to be reset or something like that. should i try to change my email choices and then change them back? perhaps that will shake something loose?

Certainly worth a try -- it can't make the situation any worse!

Fixing the outbound email Notification..

Hello,
Is there any way of repairing this? I have tried everything that i can think of. Perhaps a Mod or someone can shed some light on this?
