I wish time allowed me to be more involved, but the 4runner isn't high on the list right now. I'm glad to be involved with this forum, and all the great people on it.

Huh, this feels like high school where all the popular kids were the "in" crowd. And just like high school I thought I was part of the cool crowd, but wasn't. That's ok, I'll just go sit with my cats and knit a sweater. Again

There's no way I was going to know all the great contributors on this forum so I was bound to miss lots of cool people on here. Now that I know who you are, don't worry, I'll say hi to you when I see you in the halls when I'm walking with all the other cool kids to class.

BTW, I definitely wasn't one of the cool kids in high school nor was I one of the dorks. I was somewhere in the middle and didn't really stand out one way or the other.

Don't sweat it man.....eventually with these types of threads, someone (or multiple someones) gets butt hurt b/c they didn't get a mention. That's on them though....not you.

Though I think taylor's post was tongue in cheek.

Thanks for the mention Tim & and all that you contribute here. I'm no mechanic but help others where I can.
I'm going to be helping an FJ owner from my FB group put a 3.4 in his 1st gen 4Runner when it get warmer out. That should be a great learning experience.

Haha, no I get it. The point of the thread is that there are a lot of helpful members with great info on the forum. Most of the members on that list have also helped me on more than one occasion! I've learned FAR more on this forum that I ever would have from a manual

I have to say, even though I've spent what certainly feels like an obscene amount of money on my 4Runner, the grand total would have been MUCH higher without everyone's' write-ups, advice, and other contributions.

...I do also appreciate the occasional troll, mostly because you idiots are pretty damn funny and I have way too much free time at work :beer:
 
....? well thank you. i am not quite sure what i did other than instigate a few fights, argue, make snide sarcastic comments/remarks ect. to get this recognition, especially with being absent for like the last year or so... im starting to come back around again. but yes as others have stated, i feel very honored to be grouped amongst such great(er) contributes...
