Found a 3rd Gen. Need Advise

No need, you can't get a pink milkshake from a manual transmission. First project is to have the TB/WP done, then tackle the rust.
 
I would also offer $6k and hope to settle somewhere below $6500. I got my 2000 for just a little over $6k. It had 157k miles, but TB and WP already done and came with some extras like navigation, lift and new mud terrains. That said, these configurations are rare and it will likely be a while before you see another one like this with low miles.
 
That's weird, I thought I got my post in much earlier than it shows. In any case, I think that's a great price from a dealer. Congrats!
