Fox Front Coilovers for 3rd Gens

Ive never seen a Fox coilover intended for the 3rd gen before. Just found them on ebay for anyone who would be interested. I would be interested if I could afford a set! There are two different sets. Does anyone on the forum have experience with these?

No experience with them but they should be the exact same shocks that the 1gen tacomas use. They might just be valved or springed a little stiffer for the 4runner. I have fox shocks on my tacoma and love them.

Most companies don't specify their coilovers for 4runner use, but rather just for 1st Gen Tacoma's. Fox has been making coilovers for the 4runner for a while, but typically only market to the Tacoma guys. Nice find though! Although both of those coilovers look to be for later model 4runners or 2nd Gen Tacoma's, but I'm sure they are using standard photo. I think I remember reading that the top ones are pretty close comparison to 5100's and Toytec Eibach coils. That's pretty cheap if they are any good.

Do either of you know if the 2.0 coils are progressive rated? How would these compare in stiffness to Tundra coils? There's really not much info on the links

I was on the same thought for the $400 pair. That's really cheap for any fox product. That's cheaper then what they sell their 2" bump stops for. I was thinking they were knockoffs or fox has got into the low end market.

I would highly doubt it, as most of the aftermarket coil overs use third party springs that are all single rate springs.

ive got kings (comparable to fox) and love them. mine is a 2.5 valve body with a internal reservoir (like the second picture). but yes like everyone has said my kings were only specified for the tacomas, not 4runner but they fit.
