UPDATE:
In typical China manufacturer dealings, they have delayed the ETA. As of last night they gave me an ETA of October 7th, claiming that some orders placed prior to mine still hadn't been completed. I will stay on top of these guys to get our awnings pushed through. Sorry for the inconvenience guys...please be patient as I'm doing my best to get this done. Delays like this aren't unusual with manufacturers from China.

Was the delivery date included in the contract? Just wondering if there's any repercussions to the manufacturer for any further delays.

nah, it was an ETA. They did message me last night saying our order would be ready by the 22nd to ship. Roughly 2 weeks in ocean transit and 4-7 days at port before release, typically.
 
UPDATE: The awnings are done. They are currently at a shipping warehouse being loaded onto a container for their voyage across the Pacific. I will update again when they arrive at Port Los Angeles.

On another note, I'm getting quotes for hard-shell roof top tents if anyone is interested. Black shell with grey fabric, hydraulic lift mechanism, ladder, mattress, etc. It seems that they'll be in the $1200-$1500 range before my shipping/broker fees at Port. I'm going to order a sample unit to test/review and I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Yes. I'm waiting to get feedback from you guys on this awning before deciding to order anything else from this company. I don't want to commit too much to one company without knowing what they ACTUALLY offer, with regards to quality.
 
If you decided to do Rtt, instead of hardsheel. I'll be in, just cause it's easyier to deal with you then others! Lol if not it's ok too!

I submitted a request with the same manufacturer as the hard shell tent. I'll PM you the price once they get back to me. Keep in mind, this is for a single sample unit, so the price would be about 10-20% more than if I bought in bulk. I requested a 10 unit order price as well, so we'll see what the difference will be and if it's worth it.
 
Hey guys, I have one member that purchased a driver side mounted awning that's looking to swap to the passenger side. If anyone with a passenger side is interested in swapping for driver's side please let me know.

We talked about my awning needing to be a drivers side but it's still noted as a passengers side on the list. Just confirming that it is indeed a drivers. If not, then I'll trade with him.

I switched yours early on and forgot to update the list. You'll be getting a driver side.
 
That's for the update Elephant, I would also be interested in the annex room for the awning if the quality is good and possibly interested in a 4+ person RTT if they do those. Thanks for all you have done.

I just made another thread for a hard shell RTT and I just received quotes for the soft RTT from another company that I'll update that thread with.
