can anybody that has an icon suspension tell me if this looks abnormal, local shop adjusted it like this and I'm inclined to feel like its not properly done. it sits level on the driver side to passenger side at 36.5 inches. gonna bump it up another half inch this week i think. gonna look funny with these small tires

Looks excessive. Check the nitrogen pressure on both coilovers. Are those 650lb coils.

Lift with XREAS

Hi, I'm new to this site and trying to find valid information about contradicting info I've been told about whether or not I can lift my 4runner.
I have a 2016 limited with XREAS suspension. Looking at Revtek lift and was originally told I cannot add a lift with this suspension because once lifted it will throw an error code on my computer. Then I've been told it can be done without issues. I've also found some info on the internet that sounds like I'd have to replace the shocks (?) with another kind in order for this to work. Surely this can be done. I can't imagine Toyota would use this suspension on a vehicle that is often lifted. Any help is appreciated.

my 4runner never had the xreas system on it, i could not tell you how it works or if you could lift it with xreas. i would do some more searching on this forum and you will find your answer, you could always email a professional at toytec lifts and get their opinion. i do know most people who have it do pull it out when they lift their vehicle, if it was on mine i probably would have pulled it out and replaced it with a off road suspension though.

pm sent, you won't find directions to it on the internet you'll spend a half day looking for it too. best way to find it is to look it up on google maps and you'll see it

You can lift a Limited just like any other T4R. You just lose the XREAS system. You wont throw off anything in the computer. Anytime you lift your vehicle you will need to calibrate the YAW system. Search it. Its stupid easy to do.

Spacer lifts are the the cheapest you can do. Poor ride quality. Might as well shell out $350 and get a brand new set of Bilstein 5100's. You can use your existing coils to lift the front and some spacers for the rear. Easy.

I've got it adjusted better but i wouldn't be able to tell you the first thing about checking the nitrogen levels i think I'm going to end up taking it to 4wheel parts and letting them fine tune it perfectly

thanks! very minimal rubbing and I've got it lifted to 3 inches. these tires kick ass!:thumb:
