I just replaced the rear hatch lock assembly on my 04 4runner becuase the orginal was acting up and no longer latching. The motor is still good however, like many others on here, when you closed the back hatch it would engage the latch and then release. Before throwing it away I thought maybe someone on here might want it and possibly fix it. FREE just pay the shipping. Part Number 69110-35090
