I recently reached out to another member that has remarkable review skills. But since I'm not sure where that stands... Here is what I have.
From time to time I get manufactures wanting me (Pathfinder Outdoors)to carry their product. Sometimes I pass, and sometimes I say meeehhh (depending on how much I have on my plate at any given moment).
What I am looking for is someone who has experience testing and reviewing off road gadgets. I would prefer to have someone who can do a public review for everyone to view. Someone with a Blog or youtube review channel.
Keep in mind, not every product that gets reviewed will find its way onto our site, but I do want every product reviewed to be made avail to the public.
So here is the skinny..
-I get a request to carry a product
-I agree to a sample for testing
-I send said sample to the reviewer
-Reviewer does an honest review of all aspects, from packaging to function
-Review gets posted (must be edited and clean regardless if its a video or just written review with pictures)
-Review will be linked on our website and Pathfinder Outdoors will have permission to use the review as we see fit, the reviewer will have the same rights to the video/written review.
-As a reward (assuming the product is not junk) is the reviewer gets to keep anything I send them for personal use once the review is done.
My goal here is to only keep real world tested items on our site, I have spent the better part of this last year cleaning out the junk, and trying to incorporate better known and higher quality brands.
Since I import products from China, I often get stuff very different from what I was expecting, and I often have the opportunity to add new products. I however have been burned more than once by the Chinese suppliers and end up sitting on stuff I do not want to put my name on.
