The TE is most popular with 4runner enthusiasts, but I don't think it will be the most popular with then general public.

Try to tell the dealers that.... They want MSRP and some even said over MSRP for the TE's and I can get a Limited 4X4 for $3000 under MSRP.
These are the quotes I just got back from a dealer if I ordered it ......

why wouldnt u go trail???? and has it been cleared yet for the full time 4wd in all models if u make that selection???

ill probably buy a preowned trail edition in like 4-5 years. unless they come out with another sport edition, then i'd take that. I just don't see the sense in buying brand new. i find more value in a practically new for half the cost.

There's only $3000 between MSRP and invoice? (I did confirm that on Edmunds.) The 5th Gen is more expensive than the 4th Gen! MSRP is close, but actual cost out the door went up.

Maybe I misunderstood your question.

For the US market, part time 4WD on SR5 and TE. Full time 4WD is only on the Limited.

Wow, tough one! The limited with the 3rd row might be nice to have along with some of the fancy options. However I might be moving back to my home town. There are tons of trails around there. Thats where the TE would shine. The 20's on the limited would have to go either way.
