I need help diagnosing a problem before I consider taking my girlfriend's 1994 4Runner SR5 4x2 to the shop.
Any ideas what might be causing the brake light circuit to blow the 15amp "STOP" fuse? This fuse is also shared by the shift lock which prevents shifting the transmission out of park when blown?
I have checked - all brake lights are operational and the brakes themselves are also working fine. I am burning through dozens of fuses a week keeping this truck on the road. The 15amp fuse blows 90% of the time, especially on long drives or aggressive driving.
Thanks in advance for the input.
