From factory: Pink coolant in my 2003

I have spent 3 hours last night reading everything. It seems the 2003 came with red coolant and 2004 and later comes with pink. BUT my 2003 came with pink. (I bought it brand new and have not done any coolant changes) I know it is pink from other posting showing sample colors.
So should I have replaced it at 30k? (I have 60k right now) Or should I wait a little longer... say 90k?

I'm doing plugs and tranny fluid this week. I did my air cabin filter the other month... wow that was dirty!

I would be rare for yours to have the Pink stuff in it. I do not think you can go on color alone since things degrade over time with heat.

It really does not matter much. I am switching form Factor Red to Factory Pink soon. I will drain the radiator and refill. Then the following weekend I will repeat the procedure. That way most of the fluid actually gets changed over.

Mine had the pink stuff, and the service manager at the dealership told me that it could wait for 100K.

It's possible that Toyota switched in the middle of the 2003 model year, and the documentation didn't catch up until 2004.

Mine was pink as well. I have a late 2003 sr5 (no cladding). Mfg. 06/03.

thank you all for your responses.. I will wait for 90k. Stealership wanted 20 bucks for one gallon 50/50.

FYI Door jam said it was assembled 11/02 w/ cladding

A month earlier than mine. The service department looked up mine and said I had one of the first V6's made, so yours was even earlier. Good to know!
