Front Bumper Valance and License Plate Holes

Quick question maybe someone who has done it can shed light.

I have a SR5 bumper and the dealership drilled holes for the plate holder... it the law in WI to have a front plate.

Friend of mine gave me a 2nd front bumper valance he had laying around and I was debating installing it hoping that it will cover the 2 holes in the center... I dont want to cut up my bumper if its not going to achieve anything (covering up the existing holes).

Anyone know if the valance will cover them up? Anyone have a trail or TRD bumper that can post a picture if you have the license plate holes so I can get an idea of location

Same shit happened to mine since I live in VA and require a front plate. I got a bull bar for a light set up in the near future and also mounted the plate to the bar.

The easy and cheap fix-

The holes that were drilled looked HORRID once I removed the plate holder. I mean REALLY F'ed up, the drill site had twisted plastic everywhere and protruded upwards. I planned on dipping the front section so I simply sanded the holes down so they were flush with the rest of the valence and smooth. I then applied 14 coats of dip and it looks great now. You can hardly notice the holes. If I wanted to get real OCD with it I could find rubber plugs, dip them the same color, and pop them in.

I'll take a photo of the holes that I fixed and post it later on today.

Ive read this guys how to atleast 5 times in the past and never really looked his original post (always at the comments to see if someone asked).

I think it will cover it up as you can see from his original pictures he has the license plate frame and on his picture where the back of cover is shown you can see his holes...
