Front Differential Support Arm Bushing Replacement

Hey Dudes,

Curtis (aka [MENTION=146407]Plastics guy[/MENTION]) with his Durobumps company did us all a favor and made some replacement bushings for our front differential support arms.

Man that went way better than my install! I ended up pushing the center sleeve out and then having to burn practically all the rubber out. I smoked up half the neighborhood. Your method of heating the arm is much better because only the rubber bonded directly to the arm has to cook.

For all my plethora of tools I don't think I have a 28mm socket.

Great video! Followed your instructions exactly & everything went as smooth as it did in your video. Your tip about heating the bushings up until they start crackling and catching on fire (while heating up the arm not the actual bushing) was crucial for easy removal.

I have noticed the mild front end vibration I would occasionally get at highway speeds has improved BUT my original bushings didn't look or feel terribly worn so whether the improvement was due to new bushings or torquing everything to factory specs is to be determined.

I have these bushings and the front and rear bumpstops (and a few other parts) ready and waiting to be installed when the job jar gets a little emptier.

Great video as usual, really well done videography, tools required list and parts list will make this job go a lot quicker.
