Front end shakes bad

The whole front end vibrates really bad when I let my foot off the gas going above 45 mph. I've gotten new balanced tires, ball joints and an alignment. Put so much money into fixing it and yet it still vibrates really bad. Please chime in on what it could be. Thanks

I'd check driveshaft, u-joints, and pinion yoke for lateral play and wear

I believe the "foot off the gas" is a sure sign of the above.

Research it.

Go under when safe and force the driveshaft around when in neutral. I don't feel I need to mention this, but obviously put blocks behind tires, etc. If no movement, still mark the shaft ends (to allow proper alignment when re-installing), and remove the shaft and check for tight or loose u-joints, slipjoints, etc.

Can someone advise me ? I also have an 01 SR5 and when braking it was vibrating a whole lot. So I changed the rotor to cross drilled and new oem pads. And it's still doing the same thing. I checked the lower ball joints and outer tie rods and seems okay. But how can I tell if the lower BJ's are bad other than jacking up the front end and doing the up and down tire play thing ?

what brand rotors did you do with? , the other thing it could be is bad lower control arm bushings, if they go bad you can have funny driving characteristics under braking.

typically when the rotors on these get over heated/warped or have too much build-up on them guys upgrade to tundra brakes as they are bigger and bot directly on. search tundra brake upgrade.

This couldn't be more true... I'm going through this exact scenario and replacing my LCAs
