Front Fender Trimming

Can you guys post up some pics of how you trimmed the back of your front fenders (where the mud flaps would mount)? I want to cut some of the plastic out, but want to make sure that I won't end up with dangling/flapping fender flares. I may even need to flatten the pinch weld in that area, too, but we'll see. I've seen some pics while viewing various build threads, but can't seem to locate the more descriptive ones.
