Front range offroad full float conversion kit

This kit is great for many reasons; however, IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!

Depending which route you go you will most likely lose parking brake and almost all applications you lose ABS. While ABS isn't crucial for most here (as it sucks anyways), the parking brake is. Brian has developed a way to keep the parking brake but the setup is costly (Drotor). It also adds a good bit of width to the rear axle. Meaning you might not be be able to stuff those 33's or 35's in the wheel wells anymore.

Another factor to consider is that this kit requires some pretty tight tolerances. The semi-float design allows for a generous amount of play in the axle shaft. The full float does not. If your rear axle is warped or tweaked you will know immediately your first trip out with it and run the risk of destroying parts.

Like I said, the kit is amazing if you know what you're doing and know what you're putting it on. I debated it for a LONNNGGG time but after giving it some very thorough thought I went the even more expensive route and just bought a whole full float rear diamond axle lol.

The Real weak point on these trucks is the damn front ball joint's doesn't matter how strong your rear axle is ...
