Front speakers recommendation for 4th gen, non-JBL, Scion T1819 head unit?

Hi all. I have an 08 with non-JBL audio, head unit replaced with Scion T1819. Not planning on spending the money on an amp at this time.

Crutchfield recommended I bypass the separate tweeters and get 2-way Kicker 43DSC6704 because I'd be underpowered for components without an amp. Seems like an inexpensive and easy way to go, although I'm not sure how much I lose by not having tweeters mounted higher up.

Anyone have comments on those, or other suggestions? I'd like to keep it under about $100.

Have you checked out Sonic Electronix house brand NVX? For the price they’re not bad. I have the 6.5” component set and they sound pretty good.

On a side note, don’t know if you’re planning on upgrading later on down the future, but if you are, I would suggest to just do it now so you don’t pay twice to do the installation
