Front suspension lift questions

ToyTec Coil overs vs. 5100 Bilsteins with Eibach Vs. Toytec build your own coilovers kit.

Before I get pointed to the all mighty thread on lifts I had read through that a few times. But haven't got the answer to this. I realize all three are pretty much variations of each other but my question is whats the best bang for the buck? I know the cheapest will be the 5100s with the springs. But Is it worth it getting the kit to turn them into the adjustable coil overs and more so is it worth it to get the ones that toytec builds themselves. I don't mind spending the extra money if the pre-built coilovers are worth it but I also wouldn't mind saving $200-$400. Also for those that have the adjustable coilovers how often do you actually adjust them?

I have heard mixed things about the Tundra coils and decided not to go with them, sounds like they sag over time or don't lift very much and are pretty expensive.

The Toytec preassembled are nice, but I think they are overkill and more for looks. It's really not hard to compress the other springs if you have a spring compressor, so the benefit of being preassembled is definitely not worth extra money in my opinion.

Adjustable kit, overkill too in my opinion. Once you have your shocks set you won't change them so the adjustability isn't that big of a gain, especially for the price.

I have just Eibachs and 5100s, about as cheap as you can get and think it rides very nice and it lifted it about 3" on the lowest setting so I never had to change the shock setting. If you want 2" or so of lift and a nice ride and you won't run extra weight, the Tundras would probably be nice, but again they are double the price compared to the Eibach coils. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info! That was kinda what I was leaning towards but wanted to make sure.

On a side note you Colorado guys sure are lucky to have all that terrain out there! I hope to one day live in Colorado but for now Ill have to settle on one week out of the year for snowboard trips.
