Front tires UCA clearance question

Well I finally got my lift on my 94 (write up and pics will be coming soon) and have been looking for some 33's to put on now to finish it off and I've hit a little bit of a snag. After I did the ball joint spacers on the front, they dropped the tires down so I now only have about 1/4" to 1/2" of clearance between my tires and the upper control arms. Now this is an issue for me because I am currently running 31x10.5 tires and want to upgrade to 33x12.5 so does anyone have any suggestions of how to get that extra space? I have thought about doing wheel spacers from either addicted offroad or toytec but have heard that if you do that Discount (where I am getting my tires from) won't even touch your truck as it is against their policy... any suggestions or has anyone had this same problem with the 1.5" BJ Spacers?

I had the same issue with mine after the 4" suspension lift and after the bj spacer lift. I went with a larger offset rim and pushed the tire out that way

I have thought about running the 33x10.5's but I'm not a huge fan of the skinny tire look... if worst comes to worst and I cant find another solution I may end up having to do that though

Its not that bad. It keeps all the crap off the side of ur truck + u can keep ur stock rims!

Mine are 33/12.50/15 on 15x10 wheels I like the feel of the wider stance

1.25-1.5 inch wheel spacers will do the trick. wont really tell its there. just make sure you get the open wheel spacers and not the ones that say hub eccentric or something like that since it wont clear the hub

^ Correct. Do NOT get 'Hub-Centric'. U want 'Lug-Centric'. I'm running 1" spacers on my '85 HI-LUX.

Control arm rubbing is pretty common with ball joint spacer lifts. Jack the front of the truck up and check your clearance at full droop - you might be able to get away with some grinding on the control arm. If you wanna get a little more drastic, cut it short and box it.

Wheel spacers or wheels with less backspace will also work - it's hit and miss if a Discount Tire or other shop will work on your truck while the spacers are in. Look for a tire shop that has built 4wds parked out front, that's always a good sign that they know how to work with lifted/modified trucks.
