Front Turn Signal Issue

Both front turn signals out, rears work (at 2x speed)
I can hear the relay inside, see the arrows light up
Replaced the bulbs, checked the turn/haz fuse.. all good.

So whats next?

Check sockets? Would it be the relay if the rears are working?

Double speed indicates a bulb out. The flasher uses a bimetallic strip and if there isn't enough load on it, it flashes too quickly.

Start by pulling the bulbs and testing them with a meter. If they're conventional bulbs and they function fine, check the socket. There could be corrosion causing an issue. If they're LED bulbs, they may be polarized and could have been put in wrong.

Make sure the bulbs are seated fully. Sometimes the wires on them get pushed out of place.

Had the same problem, although only on the passenger side blinker. Ended up having to replace the bulb socket. Heres the part numbers.

I pulled the bulbs, sockets and added some grease. The driver side kicked on for a while and then stopped again so I’m assuming it’s the sockets. Ordered two, thanks! Hopefully this does it.

I have a 2008 with a bad front turn signal socket , socket uses bulb 1156A.
Can someone give me part number for this socket??

Can we replace just the socket?? or the entire harness?? part number??

We have a 2004 with non-LEDs and the front does use the signal as a daytime running light. Our passenger side has popped twice in 2 weeks. So, we were thinking it might be the socket.
Tell me, how did you get to the socket to remove it? It's a mother getting to the bulb itself! Lying on the ground with your arm twisted!

My turn signals are missing the connector between the wiring harness and the socket. If anyone can tell me what I need or point me in the right direction that would help a ton.

It's an 03 Limited with the 4.7 V8.
I bought it with both the blinkers not working. I got one working but this one has no connector.
The other one just had a bad socket so I replaced it and that was easy, but this one just has the open leads with no connector.
Any advice?

You can go to a Toyota dealer and see if they can order the connector, I can't find the connector on any online dealer's websites, or you can try and find the connector at a local savage yard, only the 2003, 2004, 2005 will have what you need, also it maybe be a different connector if you have daytime running lights or don't have them, I know the sockets and housings are different with or without daytime running lights, but since I could not find the connector/part number/s I don't know if they're different or not.

Thanks for the help. At least now I know what I need to do. I think I'm just gonna hit up a salvage yard, get the connector with the leads attached (another 5-6 inches), splice them together and use some heat shrink to make a water-tight connection.

Good luck finding what you need, I wrote the the bulbs are different with daytime running light or not, the bulbs are not different, what I meant to write was the sockets and housings are different, I have since edited my earlier post to correct that.

My 2007 is more of a problem now with turn signals. (work great in the rain??)
Dealership quoted me over $2,000 for the entire harness. Seems the short harness is not available. They tell me they can get the turn signal socket, time to look for part numbers. fun times.
