Front turn signal LED resistor question

I was actually able to carefully bend my pin back and not break it. I got pulled over and questioned about my DRL's. Told the cop that I had a new relay on order and would be here in a couple of days. Here they can issue you a ticket so you show up at the station to show you've made the fix and the essentially tear it up. I then bent it back (I'll take my chances on getting pulled over)and it still didn't break although I wouldn't want to do it again as it'll surely snap next time.

Are DRLs required in BC?

They are yes, I believe in all of Canada actually. I always liked the look of earlier 5th Gen limited that utilize the bumper ambers as the DRL's so I actually use my parking lights as my DRL's and will eventually do the Diode Dynamics turn signal upfront. Not like law enforcement here would likely know the difference. I just happened to get pulled over as I had zero lights on at the time.

It requires you to bend one of the fuse tabs, you can always buy another one should you want to replace it back to having DRLs.

So I installed these today. They are not on when the DRL setting is on. Only when the parking lights are on. Sort of disappointed but that's sort of what I thought would happen.
