Hey guys, searched and to no avail. Both my front driver and passenger window have the same symptom of the bottom rubber scraper seal essentially rotting / tearing off of its base, as seen here:

2 questions to anyone who knows better than I:
1) Is it worth fixing? I.e. am I risking excess water, etc by not having this intact? My instinct is still that I would like to keep ahead of things and fix it.
2) Does anyone have any insight on the replacement process for that molding? Couldn't find much in the RM.
