Looking for a great daily or the perfect project start this is it. Black V8 Sport 4x4.
Original owner, no wrecks, no collisions, no damage ever vehicle.
Factory grey leather, driver is the only seat that has gotten any serious usage so it does show some wear on the side stitching.
No mods, no off road usage previously.
Mileage just under 112k currently.
Sound upgrades. In dash Kenwood DVD\Nav. Component speakers up front. 3 10" JL subs in back. Couple nice amps. Not a bass competitor but does well enough when you want it. All professionally installed.
AGM deep cycle battery.
Viper remote start\alarm.
Timing belt replaced at 100k. All regular maintenance done at nearby dealerships.
Tires are only about a year old and in great shape.
Truck has run absolutely perfect the 8 years I've had it. Never been stranded or broke down on the side of the road once. I am straight up with what I sell though and the truck is not perfect.
Known issues:
Does suffer from the manufacturer defect with the secondary air injection system that causes the check engine and vsc lights to come on with all of these V8 models eventually. Error codes P1442\P1445. I do not ever hear or notice the rev up at start other people have gotten. Has zero effect on the driving or performance of the vehicle. I got the usual $2500-3000 repair quote from Toyota and that they would not cover them unlike the Tundra's with the same engine issue. It clears emissions with no issue when you clear the error code if you do it during the winter. This seems to be the only time the lights come on. During the summer when its warm unless its raining and some moisture gets into the pump the lights never come on. I went all summer without them on and then as soon as it got cold around mid-October they came back.
Paint is ok to good, has the usual road chips here or there. The hood has a good bit of oxidation and water spots if you look close. Wet sanding and re-polishing and sealing it likely the only way to really get it clear.
