Think this 1/2 inch bl will work for a runner with a defiant light bar?

I think you will have an issue with the Defiant mount, unless the slots where the bumper bolts go through the bracket have enough room to adjust it up 1/2".

If you wanna try cutting slots, it would work!

Or you could try modifying the light bar to gain the extra 1/2"?

Finally the delay is over. I installed the BL kit on Sunday. It took longer than expected and a few minor obstacles. I'm very pleased with the results. No having to move radiator mounts or steering issues. The spare tire access is the same.

Here's a before and after pictures of the body lift. I do have FJ coils and DS 2.5/1.5 spacers with 5100's all the around. Basically I ended up with 1/2 to oddly enough 3/4" all the way around. It is noticeable and Alex was a 10 to deal with.

Don't know what caused the super thick spacers. It's supposed to be a sheet of uniform thickness. Oh well, you figured it out no problem!

It could have been a manufacture defect in the material. I can't imagine the frame tabs being slightly bent, but it is possible. The minor height differences isn't noticeable.

My only concern was the diameter of the spacer. Take a look at the picture and give me your thoughts. The front spacers were perfect. So far I am happy with it, no squeaks or odd noises. Since I installed the body lift it actually got rid of a sqeaking noise in the rear area.

Thanks Alex.... if I had to do it all over again, I'd still choose your body lift kit! It's a great kit and gives that extra for clearance issues. That material appears very durable.

Finally got around to doing this. The pics really suck, but the front end was raised considerably. The rubbing is gone going into steep driveways. The install was easy and straight foreword. My suspension is stock Xreas with a DS 2.5/1.5 for the time being. Thanks Alex for a great service.

Hi everybody......just curious, how long on average does it take to do the half inch lift? I've heard the bigger BL's can take 5-7 hours...this one should be quicker, yeah? Thanks!

Ya it's quicker because you don't need to add a steering wheel spacer or drop the radiator. It took me about 3-4 hours but that's with taking lots of breaks in this Texas heat.
