FS: 1/2" Bodylifts For 03-09

Thanks nortex and emelianenkov for the feedback. I was debating having it installed by a shop but I guess I will just give it a go myself. I have never done a BL and was a little worried BUT since I dont have to jack with steering and radiator issues, it really doesn't seem that bad. Can't wait to get it in...should be here this week! I think the biggest problem is my stock wheels and tires are going to look even sillier since I already have the DS 2.5/1.5 kit installed. Tires and wheels definitely need to come next!

Hey Duck'n, Just wondering if you had pics of your T4R with the Daystar and the body lift on stock tires?

I have a Daystar 2.5/1.5 kit waiting to be installed and I would like to purchase this body lift to add a little bit more room for tires when they come. Just wanted to see what yours looked like with stock tires.

I haven't had a chance to install the lift yet but I am hoping to get it on this afternoon. I will post up some before and after pics once its on!

OK...little confusion.

I have all the body mount bolts loose and have removed the nuts/washers on passenger side. The middle two bolts are loose and could be taken out. The rear bolt would not move freely even without the nut but I finally got it to slide up and down. However, I cannot get the front bolt to move up and down. I am a little hesitant to start lifting that side if I can't get the bolt to move freely...is there a trick to this???

Oh and I just blew a seal on my jack so I am scrambling to find another one! Curses!!!!

Did you remove the washer bottle? If it won't move freely, take a bolt (use one of the loose mid-vehicle bolts) and tap the bottom with a hammer. Sometimes they corrode inside the body mounts.

Got it! Much thanks guys! I don't have it all tightened down yet but the lift is in. I think one of my rear bolts is too short but I will lift that side tomm morning and make sure everything is seated correctly. Them I just have to put it all back together! It is looking good so far, pics to follow!

Awesome! Cant wait to see some pics on it. If you were in NC I would ask to get you a few brewski's to help install my Daystar and this body lift once I purchase it.

Well the passenger side rear bolt just isn't long enough. I can get the drivers side to barely start threading. I took the passenger side back up and checked the spacer...everything looked good. I am wondering if I get the rest of the bolts torqued down, maybe it will "seat" a little more and I can get the nut started. If not, I guess I will buy some longer bolts. The only thing I wonder about that though is a standard bolt won't have the special washer in it. I will cross that bridge when I get there. Now I just need to get after this reassembly!

Did you make sure from the top the bolt was all the way in.
