For sale a clean 1993 4Runner with 4WD. Clean title. 178,670 miles. $3,800. Just passed smog.
I bought this truck a year ago from a used car dealer. He got it on trade from the original owner who obviously babied it. My expectations were that I would be able to find the time to work on it as issues popped up. And let's face it, it's a twenty year old vehicle so problems will pop up. But now I have no more time to dedicate to it so I am selling it at a steal.
It does need some work. I haven't identified every detail but here is a list of things it may need:
- dealership identified small leak coming from heater hose (doesn't overheat, but does show steam and drip)
- may need a relay switch for the starter (at times it doesn't start right away)
- the timing belt and water pump were replaced about 80k miles ago so it's due.
- runs a little loud first thing in the morning. dealer says it's just a few stuck valves but I haven't tried to hunt that down.
- may need a new thermostat
Again, these are all by my estimation. It may or may not need all of these things.
I'm just trying to be as honest as I can with the information I have. No surprises on my end.
The body and interior (leather) is in impeccable condition for its age. All the power windows work. Although the driver side window switch doesn't roll the passenger side window back up(?!).
