Listing this for a friend - Car is in pretty good shape, drives well. Body is in fairly good shape also, but has an imperfection in the driver side door and passenger side 1/4 panel. Nothing too major - I think it's priced appropriately and is a good deal on a solid truck.

Up for sale is my trusty 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5. It is the special Sport/Highlander edition (Hood scoop, sits about 1"higher, etc.other above mentioned features). It has been a great car, holds it's own in any weather condition. I've driven it across the country. I'm moving and will sadly have to sell it. I've changed the oil regularly and kept up with maintenance. Everything is in good working condition (exception: the key fob for some reason won't unlock the doors, so you have to manually use the key). This car is a tank!

You might want to post some undercarriage pictures for rust. It looks pretty bad just by looking at the trailer hitch.

agreed, but location should set expectations.

Up here, if the truck is "solid" (meaning no actual holes or soft spots in the frame), then the price is reasonable for a local buyer.

In southern california, if the truck has surface rust it is considered rusty and should be passed over.

Bringing a northern truck (that was driven in the winter) down south does not make sense and should not be considered a logical option.

These were the thoughts when buying the truck originally. It was a solid truck but not a southern truck. For what it was, it was a very reliable, spacious vehicle for any road condition up here, so if that is what you are looking for, then it was a good option.
