Hi...so Im truly new to this 4WD stuff. Just bought a nice 86 4runner with the 22RE. It has a small lift and just sorting things out. Am told it would be a good improvement for trail and a bit of crawling and occasion mud play if I had a locker in the rear. Ive read just a bit on the subject...So what does this retail for? Is it an automatic locker or will it require additional stuff to engage it? Have also been told a detroit locker is the way to go...is it similar?
