1989 4Runner for Sale
I love this car, but I just bought something else so I don't need it anymore.
-162,000 original miles
~30,000 miles on rebuilt engine, from Oregon Engine Rebuilders
-22/RE, 4-cylinder
~18 mpg in town
4x4 works awesome
Upgrades:
- Replaced fuel pump 2018
-Electric Fan, on switch
-New Shocks
-Sound mat installed in cab
-New Carpet (thicker than normal for sound proofing)
-New front seats
-Louvered hood
-2, 4” light bars, on switch
-1, 7” light bar, on switch
Tires: ~28” – in great shape
-Front replaced last year, 3-year, 60,000 mile warranty
-Rear replaced this year, 3-year, 60,000 mile warranty
-Sound system – sounds awesome
-Pioneer head unit
-2 12” subwoofers
-2 6x9” speakers in removable box
Cons:
-master brake cylinder is out (not too bad, just no power brakes, not expensive to fix)
-Interior is a little rough
-Fuel light is always on, I replaced the lights in the dash with LEDs, and I think that it gets just enough power to turn on. Fuel level indicator still works great.
-2 dents, one in front fender, one on rear bumper
-rear right taillight cover broken (easy to find replacement)
-Left rear fender has some typical rust damage for the 4Runners
-The rear window has a separate switch to run it, there’s some wiring stuff that needs worked out
Most of this stuff are easy fixes that I just don’t have time to do.
