FS: 1st Gen-$5000, Orem, UT/Portland, OR

Hey guys, I'm selling my 1988 SR5 and thought I should post about it here on this forum.

A little information, I am the 3rd owner. I myself bought the truck at 3100 and then put a little over 5000 into the truck of parts, new transmission, and new wheels and tires. The truck runs smooth and handles perfectly off road. I know that it doesn't look the prettiest, but mechanically it is awesome.

Only issue is that the KS wire needs to be re spliced, or a little bit of electrical dealing with it. No leaks in the engine (that I have been able to see in the last year) and no water leaks anywhere else. The canopy still has all the paneling on the inside and the rear wiper still works as well as the window regulator.

I'm currently living in Orem UT, but this weekend will be driving up to Portland OR (I've made this trip about 3 times in this truck and it never fails) and so That's why I put that. If you live anywhere in between these places, or in either of these places, let me know ASAP so I can get it to you.

I'm REALLY trying to sell this, and I know that if you put a little love to her, she'll last you the next 10 years. Hope to hear back from you!

All mechanicals original?
Motor rebuilt?
What are it's flaws, if any? (besides the mis-matched body )

You're trying to sell this thing...so give us more information. Make us want to buy it!

Sorry about the lack of info.

Mismatched paint yes, however there are no leaks of any kind, water or oil. Engine was rebuilt and re machined at 200,000 miles. Freshly rebuilt transmission by YotaTech installed at 248,000 miles, new wheels and tires at 249,000, Flowmaster exhaust and OXR Header, new brakes, 2 inch lift, canopy still has all the panels too!

Only issue that I can see is the knock sensor was just replaced and so the harness needs to be re spliced together to get the check engine light off.

It is the SR5 version so it has a tachometer (that works!) All the electronics work, so the rear window goes up and down and the rear wiper still works as well. All mechanical stuff is perfect ready for off-road, the only problem is the paint.
