FS: 2016 4Runner TRD Pro Quick sand $42500

I'm sell a 2016 TRD Pro in Quick Sand for $39500 USD, I bought in from Texas. It has never been off-road. It has not been modded and looks completely brand new, it has not seen a Canadian winter yet and has zero rust or scratches. I live up in Calgary Canada but it shouldn't be an issue importing it back down the US. I'm asking $39500 OBO. It does not have a scratch on it, even the suspension and underside looks completely new.

I'm only selling it because I bought a 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro and don't have enough time to drive both vehicles.

It does have a rebuilt status, it was in a front end collision. There was no frame damage, it was just the upper part of the front grill, hood and left fender that needed to be replaced. The majority of the cost and probably the reason that it was written off was because all the airbags except for the front passenger deployed.

I realize that but he doesn't list it as CAD....and even still 33k USD is steep. Currently its on eBay with a starting bid of $35k no mention of CAD but he does convert miles to kilometers. So again this makes believe he is wanting just under premium for a salvaged vehicle.

False mileage was due to missing keys at the time of auction, they couldn't put an accurate mileage on the bill of sale. It cost me $21k to rebuild it.

3/4 of the cost was airbags, seat covers, headliner and airbag computer. Very little was body as I stated in my description if you read the next sentence after.

IMO mint condition doesn't mean it's been wrecked and rebuilt. Mint condition would be an original car with original parts and bodywork in immaculate condition. I would expect it was looking nice if it just had the front end replaced.

I sure hope anyone bidding on eBay does their own research since you aren't very forthcoming about the history of the truck and it's theft in your ad. It deserves much more than a few sentences to explain everything.

Edit: Not to mention this looks like a lot more damage than a hood, fender, and "just the upper part of the front grill"

Compared to my 2017 which has seen 2 Canadian winters, it's in better condition. If you read the context of the sentence before ripping apart one word within it.

For anyone that wants, I can show more pictures of the damage. The body damage itself cost me about $7500 to repair, they didn't need to do a frame pull. They pulled the inner fender and the rad support, and everything is now in spec. It was all done by an auto body shop that does many of the repairs for a local Toyota dealer here, they came recommended from that dealer.

Also, because for some reason you have your hate on for me. Just to be completely open and honest about the whole thing. I bought it for $24K and probably put another $21K into getting where it is right now because I did everything the proper way and used Toyota parts and had it inspected by a Toyota dealer after. Yes, there was a theft but it appeared to have a zero dollar repair value and I have no details about it.

Keep it. You’re never going to sell it for what you want out of it and were probably way in over your head when you bought it for that price. Keep it.

I'm actually thinking about keeping it, I'm torn between this and my 2018 Trd Pro Tacoma. I only drive once or twice a week and I don't need 2 vehicles since the wife also has a new 4runner too.

I actually bought it thinking there were few airbags blown. I would never buy from copart again, they were very elusive as to the airbags. They cut the airbags and stuffed them all back into the headliner and hid the fact that the seat bags where gone as well. I was under the impression that it was just the drives side and not all the airbags, I budgeted $10k for repairs not $21K.

Keep it. You’re never going to sell it for what you want out of it and were probably way in over your head when you bought it for that price. Keep it.

Copart is run by a bunch of crooks and I found that out the first time I went to a yard. Thankfully the yard hand told me to stay away of I was actually looking to fix a car for myself. The “enhanced” vehicles have some shady sh*t done to them.

So yes, either keep the 4runner or list it for what you bought it for. I learned the hard way fixing a horse trailer. You unfortunately learned a much more costly lesson. Sell it for $25k and you will probably find a buyer.

Sorry bro but not sure how you can be "torn" on the Tacoma. I bought one to replace my 15' Trail for work purposes and sold it after a month. Toyota dropped the ball on the motor/tranny combo on this 3rd gen plus they still don't have height adjustability in the seat?! Like others have said, Keep it!
