I am selling my 1996 Toyota 4Runner 4x4, 3.4L engine, auto trans. I have owned the truck for about 3 years and I am only selling it because I bought a larger SUV. The truck does have high miles (323,xxx) but it is in great running and driving condition. When I bought the truck it had 298k miles and an oil leak. So I removed the engine and re-sealed the whole engine, changed the timing belt and water pump and re installed the engine.
Pros and recent work:
-Like new Cooper AT3 tires, 265/75/16 (one inch taller than stock)
-Resurfaced brake rotors 6/28/16
-All new Bilstein Shocks
-New Ball Joints
-Rust free
-Reupholstered Driver Seat
-Timing belt, pulleys and water pump changed at 298k
-Double Din JVC Bluetooth receiver with new pioneer speakers
-tow package/hitch
-Low Range rear dif lock
-Windshield less than one-year-old
-99-01 4runner headlights (clear lenses compared to the stock lenses)
-Heat and A/C work well

Cons
-Hood and top of vehicle paint is oxidizing, but can be mostly covered with wax
-Passenger side front seat could use a seat cover

The truck is very clean for its age, and in good running and driving condition. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to arrange a test drive. $2,500 Firm.

Oh man, that's a looong drive from Texas and I too many cars already. Someone will get a good deal, looks like you took care of it. Is the frame and body in pretty good shape (minimal rust)?

I have a friend that lives in Texas...I could send it back with him.:happy:

Yeah, no real rust to speak of. The frame and body are really clean. I can take pictures of the underside if anyone is interested.
 
also, I don't think I mentioned this in the add. In the last year, I replaced the rear coil springs to help with the droop in the rear. I also replaced the steering rack bushings to get rid of highway speed vibration. That was a real pain to do, but it solved the problem.
