FS: 4th Gen Hybrid Tube Bumper - SF Bay Area - $300 obo

Hi guys,

Im selling this bumper for a friend of mine not on the forums. I helped him make about a year ago. Its a custom hybrid tube bumper, with a 30" lightbar mounted inside. Bolts up just as a factory bumper does at the frame, and has a piece that slides in the front diff mount. Works with 4wd or 2wd models and should fit from 2003-2009. Will just fit behind a factory bumper, or you can cut about 2" off the bottom of the stock bumper and have the tube show a little bit. Has a 1/16" aluminum skid. Does require cutting the front crossmember under the radiator off, but otherwise just bolts up.

Asking $300 obo.

Pickup in SF Bay Area would be preferred, but can be shipped at the buyers cost. Usually around $70-90 to ship anywhere in the lower 48.

how did you mount the light bar? did you just weld on a tab then mounted it to that?

It actually just used the mount that came with the lightbar. Those mounts were bolted to the bumper frame horns, and then we drilled another set of holes in the mount lower down for the lightbar to bolt into.

damn i really wish i would have seen this when it went up for sale i would have snatched it up real fast! Maybe someone can get a GB going and you can pump some out for some of us guys, saves me the trouble from buying a big ass ugly plate bumper lol id even leave a deposit for you on paypal so you know i was serious!

something just like this with a full width skid plate not as tapered down as the one pictured in the add!

On an interesting side note, the reason I got this bumper is because I saw the one on your truck and loved it! I was bummed when I read that it only worked on 2WD models though. I searched everywhere for someone that's done a bumper like this on a 4WD model and a few months later this one popped up. It was directly off a 4WD model so I hopped on it quick!
