$21,500 in Colorado. 108,000 miles.
I purchased and built this 4Runner with the intent of keeping it “forever”, or at least until the wheels came off. However the needs of my family have caused us to trade out for a Taco. My job allows me to work from home about 90% of the time, so this vehicle has not been supporting daily miles. We take it camping, snowboarding, and on road trips and errands.
I bought this truck with approximately 62,000 miles on it in November of 2014, and about 5-7,000 miles later 4WheelParts in Westminster, CO (near Denver) installed the Icon Stage 1, FN Wheels, and 285/65/18 tires.
At that point my build got stalled out for awhile while I purchased a house. In August/Sept of 2017 I picked back up on the project and installed all the armor, and a few months later the bumpers and stereo.
We love the truck overall and most of you viewing this will likely know what you’re getting in the 4Runner. The base vehicle was in great condition when I got it and I fixed an issue with the door panel, put in the all weather mats immediately, and have tried to take care of it for long term ownership ever since.
No major issues since I bought it and all maintenance has been regular, either at home oil changes, or in the shop ever since. My only real complaint is that it’s a little loud at times with the air intake, but the new owner can handle that however they please!
