1986 SR5 4Runner - 22re, 5spd - $2000 / OBO
The time has come to part with my truck. Great project/camper/part out truck. Drove this for 5 years, including a trip to Mexico and back. Now I have two year old and another on the way and just don't get to drive it or work on it anymore.
Can be fixed up for relatively cheap, or parted out for much more than the sale price. I've got all the repair paperwork.
I live in Chicago.
The Good:
Rebuilt 22re Engine with ~15,000 miles
5 Cooper 30x10.5 R15 Tires with 2/3rds tread remaining
New, used transmission with 80,000 miles on it from The 4Runner House
Custom swing out tire carrier and jerry can holder from 4x Innovations
New Odyssey PC1200 Battery
Battery holder for Odyssey PC1200
Working tailgate window
Windows and electronics work
No cracks in dash
EGR Cap conversion
Rebuilt Parking Brake
Frame sanded and sprayed with rust inhibitor in 2015
New Catalytic Converter
CV Joints and Stabilizing Arm replaced 3,000 miles ago
Upholstery in good condition
Custom camping platform for sleeping and storage
Reconditioned Fuel Injectors
New door speakers
New Radio/Cd Player
The Bad:
Will need to be towed due to transmission issues
Transmission needs to be installed - Transmission included in sale
Needs new exhaust manifold
Typical Toyota truck rust on body around rear tires
Fuel gauge non-functioning
Slow Front Differential Leak
Also included:
Heavy Duty Transmission Output Seal
Used but working clutch plate (needs to be resurfaced)
Clutch Fork Boot
Rear seats
A/C Kit w/ compressor and all parts
Additional rear gate with working motor but no glass
Set of McGard Wheel Locks (installed)
