1999 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 for sale. 2 Wheel drive. Millenium Silver Metallic with blue/grey interior. 182,000 miles. This 4 Runner spent it’s first 8 years in Orange County, CA and the last 6 years in Phoenix, AZ. I have owned this 4 Runner for the last 10 years and I am the second owner. I have the original running boards, I just removed them because I like the way it looks without them. I have taken very good care of this vehicle and it runs and looks great. The 4 Runner has had most of its maintenance performed at the Toyota dealer. In the last few years, it has had the following work performed (starting with the most recent and this is not meant to be all-inclusive, just the more major services):
Just last week (8/23/13) @ Toyota Dealership:
*BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO 31x10.5/15 tires rotated (tires are 2.5 years old and have less than 23k miles on them)
*Fuel Filter replaced
2 months ago (617/13) – O’reilly Auto parts (DIY):
*Replaced front brake pads
*Replaced front brake rotors
One year ago (11/16/12) @ Toyota Dealership:
*Brake Fluid flushed
*Power Steering fluid flushed
2.5 years ago/22,800 miles ago (2/24/11) @ Toyota Dealership:
*New tires – BF Goodrich all Terrain KO 31x10.5/15
*Four wheel alignment
*Replaced front struts
*Replaced rear shocks
*Replaced rear brake shoes and machined rear drums
*Performed rear differential service
Approximately 6 years ago and at 120k miles, I had the Toyota dealership in Orange, CA perform a timing belt replacement. I tried to obtain the service records from that dealer, but their system updates itself every two years and since I have not taken the 4 Runner to that dealer in the last 6 years, they told me the records were purged. I checked the Toyota owners Group website and even ordered a Carfax for this vehicle hoping the service records would be in one of those places, but they were not.
