I am selling my 2002 3rd Gen Sport Edition RWD with 265k in good condition, asking $4,200. Clean title in hand, cash or bank draft only. I am located near Dallas, TX.
The 2002 model is the last year the 3rd Gen was produced and the sport edition package makes it one of the best looking 4Runners made. It has the 3.4L v6 with 183hp. I have taken very good care of the truck since I picked it up in early 2014 at 233k. I removed the running boards but can reinstall them for the buyer if needed or just bring them along. The wheels, badges, and sport brush guard are plasti-dipped but that can be removed as well if preferred. All the stickers in the pictures will be removed prior to sale.
List of things done while I've owned it:
- HID Headlights with Bi-Xenon high beams.
- Pioneer Bluetooth head unit w/ amp and wired for a sub.
- Rear view camera, head unit has two camera inputs so a front camera could also be installed
- Oil changes and tire rotation every 3-5k miles.
- New Windshield - 08/2016
- Replaced the rear shocks myself around 235k miles.
- Replaced starter myself around 260k.
The Good:
- Runs and drives great; ice cold A/C
- Good tires (replaced 11/2015)
- Rear seat in perfect condition
- Non-smoker
- Has owners manual and original sticker
- All power windows work
- Comes with 2 keys and 1 key fob
The Bad:
- Scratches/scuffs on each fender flare (from previous owner)
- Paint on plastic piece of hood scoop has started oxidizing and peeling
- A few door dings on passenger side
- Front seats have no tears, but do show some wear
