FS: Eclipse AVN6600 Navigation GPS DVD touchscreen

I received the navigation today, but isnt the map dvd needed for the navigation to work? Mine did not came with one.

4Runner19,

I would like a response from you please. I have sent you a few PM's now and saw that you had been on line since receiving both of them. I've also left you a request here in this thread. I would certainly appreciate a PM or post here of the status of my purchase from you.

Thanks

I noticed you have been online yet again today and still fail to respond to me. I will be contacting paypal by the end of the day if I have not heard from you. All I have asked for is some communication and you have yet to respond to me.

I'm really surprised to see this type of reception from this seller, especially with all the "thumbs up" and "kudos" from past purchasers.

i received my unit yesterday. The map disk is inside but i cannot seem to change the "destination" set at an address in the US and i am in Canada. I do not have the user manual. if Mark can shed light....

Manual for AVN6600

I bought one of these from him. I installed last night with the kit in this thread. Looks great, I am very pleased. You can download the manuals from the eclipse website. There are 3 manuals - Install, Navigation, and Audio. All I need is a place to buy the wire harness to be able to connect the 13pin sat radio cable. Anyone know?

When I play my iPod thru the center aux plug it only plays on my right speaker and on top of that it plays over whatever that's playing (radio playing + aux , at the same time)

Sorry for the delayed response. I had a lot of personal business that I couldnt get away from and was 2 days late in shipping out your unit. I have however shipped it out and I sent your tracking number to your personal email address.

The parking wire needs to be either connected to your parking brake or grounded to your body frame in order to change the destination or play dvds. If you do not ground that wire, it will stay grayed out and be unusable.

Make sure your plugs are in tight. I honestly don't have personal experience with this since my car doesnt have the center aux input. Is it still giving you problems? Is it isolated only to your aux input? How is the rest of the unit functioning? Did you cut the red/purple wire?

Well the aux work and I checked the connection, It does play but only on the right side. Let's say that I select fm and picked a station and I wanna listen to my iPod. It will play the station plus on the right speakers it will play my iPod as well. I did cut the purple/red wire and it did turn off the vsc and check light :) grounded the parking wire. Thanks for doing all the pre wiring work ! Now I just need to figure out the aux.. Is there a plug I can buy for aux? (not the iPod connector just the normal jack)

thanks

Mine does the same as well, though I haven't really had time to try and remedy a solution. Keep us posted if you figure anything out.

I checked with a friend of mine who has the avn6610 and he has a slight layer of music also. I'm not sure if Eclipse made it to work directly with the aux input or if it was just convenient for them to use that factory plug and it just so happens to have the aux cable intergrated in that harness. I will look more into it and post what I find.
