FS: eimkeith PCK® (Panhard Correction Kits) for 3rd gen $93.50, 4th/5th Gen $98.20

Thanks EIMKEITH! I lifted my 3rd Gen 4 year ago 2.5" and never really noticed any handling issues until I installed a Tepui RTT a few months ago. Driving over 60 on the freeway was a white knuckle ride with the truck swaying back and forth until I took my foot off the gas. I couldn't find anyone else online experiencing the same thing. I thought it could be from 1 of several things: Wind not being deflected properly around the tent, my disconnected front sway bar, and the panhard bar not being level. My first fix was to order the PCK. I welded on the drop side on Sunday. After the paint dried and install complete on Monday, I got it over 80 mph on the freeway without any hint of the truck wanting to sway back and forth.

Well designed and manufactured. I can't thank you enough!

Is an alignment required after install?

Often wheel alignments are set from rear wheels on a rig. Load up vehicle with your every day kit and go in for an alignment. Your diff has moved due to pck. The load you carry changes many things. Use your everyday load during alignment and minimise wear and tear, and improve safety.

Cheers

got the kit, and trying to lay everything out. I will also be installing billies and tundra springs, and lc springs and tokico shocks on back. This will give me about a 2.5 inch lift.
On the kit for the upper is several holes to locate the track bar into it.( upper) will it be obvoius which one I go for, is it hit and miss. ?

EDIT: Never mind , just watched timmys video on this and did more reading....found my answers

I have the icon adjustable panhard bar. Is this still required and/or recommended? The thrust angle on my alignment is .10°. 0° is ideal but at .10° it’s not bad.

finished my lift today and used these brackets. Excellent product. Gad I went this route, now to sell my unused adjustable bar ( cant return , had too long on shelf)

eimkeith Sorry if this question has been covered before or in an FAQ somewhere but here goes: why are the spacer washers for the frame side mount so small? They fit the ID and thickness nicely but are much smaller than the diameter of the panhard bushing. It basically makes the bushing flanges useless. Can I just use bigger washers? They may need to be trimmed down to use the center hole which has a step on the inside as it transitions from the frame to the welded bracket.

Finished my PCK install. Great work on these brackets!

I am pretty sure I need to use the middle hole on the frame side. Panhard is dead level at this position but the vehicle is unloaded. Extra bolts shown have internal sleeves to add a bit of stiffness.

I wasn't happy with the step on the inside of the center hole. I understand cutting a chord out off the side of a washer but I wanted enough area to ensure the bushing can bear against a completely flat surface. So I made some trapezoidal adapter shims from 12ga steel.

Good thinking. I may borrow your idea.

If I'm putting 1" lift springs on the rear of mine (icon) would this kit be beneficial at all? Not sure if leaving it stock vs putting it at 2" lift location would be the same amount of "off" or if it would actually help at all.

Thanks!

It really depends on your actual lift height at the load you typically carry. You'd need to measure from the ground to the center of the panhard bolt on each side and determine that delta - that will tell you if you can use correction.

(I don't like the axle end of the bar to be above the frame end of the bar.)

Hey, sorry, just saw this. The spacer is sized for the sleeve, not the bushing. The bushing should be able to give & flex somewhat during articulation.

Thank you! I will take some measurements both before and after on my lift and go from there.

Dumb question, is it mandatory to install both sides of the PCK on a 2” lift? Or is just the driver side good enough?
