Well maintained 97 4Runner in white. 5 Speed, 4WD, diff lock. 241k miles.

Clean body, paint in good shape for the age, interior in excellent shape except for a seam in drivers seat and a crack in the armrest cover.

Everything works, including AC. Sunroof, tow package, rear heat

The bad: spark plug blew out and has been repaired already. Tried a Time Sert, but the hole is too egged out to accept the bushing without leaking. It's a shame because the truck is so clean, but they have a daughter leaving for college in the fall and can't put the money into the repair. So new heads or motor swap are needed.

A low mileage motor could be swapped in and you could be wheeling the same day.

$1650/OBO/ or trade for a running driving car, truck or van in decent shape.

I hope you found your "unicorn"! I currently have a '98, 5-speed 4x4 with e-locker and LOVE it. When you get it, feel free to shoot me some PM's and I can point you in a good direction for some common mods / upgrades: extended rear diff breather, '99+ center console upgrade, 199mm Tundra brake calipers / rotors, etc. I'd be more than happy to help you out!

With that being said, IF you don't end up with this truck, please put me #2 in line. What part of NJ would you be riding down from, if you don't mind me asking? And SC is a good state to find rust-free cars - as long as it hasn't spent a lot of time in a different state you more than likely will be good. Mine was from Concord, NC and barely had any rust on the underside (just surface). Couldn't be happier!!

Edit...I see now that it says what I asked. Don't know how I missed that earlier. I have a 2010 VW CC 6speed for possible trade. Obviously those numbers don't match, but it's a start at least!

NC Grayson - they are trying to get a reliable vehicle for their daughter to drive for the rest of the school year and summer before she leaves for college, so I don't think a newer car is going to work, but thanks for the offer.
