FYI these will also fit in 7440 (single filament) applications. Since the price was the same I ordered 7443s instead of 7440s for my 3rd-gen in case I ever decided to convert the front signals to a parking/turn signal setup.

They will not have dual function (parking and turn) without changing to a 7443 socket.

I don't know of an OEM 7443 socket but these Flosser brand universal sockets https://ebay.us/QajsvG are almost a direct fit, just needs a few seconds of trimming on one of the tabs.

You have to wire in resistors or get a LED compatible flasher relay otherwise the turn signals will hyper flash.

My personal preference is replacing the flasher as opposed to resistors unless it's a vehicle with no replaceable flasher. How To: Fixing Hyper Flash Turn Signal (Replace Flasher Relay)

Thank you. I guess I'll go the resistor route as my truck has the side turn signals, making it exceed the maximum number of signal lights indicated on the LED flasher relay.
