a. Your Item Description: Selling my ScangaugeII that I've had for a couple years. Only ended up using it for maybe a few months. Since then, I haven't had a working OBDII capable vehicle and I don't plan to have one for awhile.
If you don't know what these are, they can track your tank mileage, give instant MPG (this really helps you max your MPG), read and clear diagnostic codes, freeze frame data, display PIDs (like temp sensors, TPS, fuel trims etc) and more stuff I'm sure I forgot. You can change the screen color to match your gauges.
It's in great condition. The reason I'm listing it for lower than what I'd expect to get for it is because of the firmware. If you want the newest firmware version, you will have to send it in to Scangauge and have them flash it. Since it's older, it will cost a total of $25 to get it up to date. More info on that can be found here: Upgrade : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge. The process sounds pretty painless. For most, the update is not necessary... you still get all the good stuff you would buy these for, but you miss out on some funky newer features I guess.
They are $160 new, with no other changes besides the firmware.
