Up for sale is a much loved 3rd gen 4Runner with 315,000 miles on the clock- only selling because I found the Iceberg with less miles. This is a 2000 model year SR5, with the 3.4l and a 4 speed automatic transmission. Regular semi-synth oil and filter changes and new plugs & OEM wires were all of the maintenance it required in the multiple years of my ownership.

THE GOOD:
-Gets wonderful gas mileage- normally get 20-22 mpg hwy, and rarely drop below 18 city.
-New(ish) KYB rear shocks
-Diff fluids changed
-Aftermarket Kenwood Single DIN head unit w/ aux, CD, usb, etc.
-Tires are wearing very evenly and have one more summer in them. Would not recommend them as winter rubber, but they have a decent amount of life left in them yet.
-I have lots of extra parts ( KYB front struts, rear OEM coil springs, extra running boards, extra roof rack supports, extra tail lights, etc) for the mechanically inclined.*
-OEM hitch (off the vehicle for refinishing at the time of taking pictures) is repainted gloss black and reinstalled, contrary to the pictures.
THE BAD:
-Undercarriage rust. There is one 10" rust rot section of frame near the muffler thanks to Wisconsin salt- this is a typical issue on many of these in the Midwest. It has not gotten worse over the years of my ownership and I would trust it to drive across the US tomorrow. I have seen and fixed worse.
-Gas gauge is inconsistent, I typically refill after 200-230 miles anyways.
-No A/C
-Front suspension and drivetrain could likely use to be replaced for comfort's sake. It drives extremely smooth on the highway however, but if you lift it, you won't feel bad cutting out the old parts.
-The previous muffler rusted through, but was replaced with a glasspack exhaust system as of last year.
-Power antenna is not operational, however it is fully extended all the time and radio reception is great.
Would rather sell this to someone who appreciates it, so I lowered the price to $2100 for any T4R members here. Send me a pm with any questions or offers!
