Some people call it being lazy for not reading the whole damn manual. For me, i call it have a 1 1/2 year old girl and studying for the CPA exam. I don't have the time to look into random stuff all the time like some folks.


A simple response could have been "it's in the manual, it's normal"

I don't think anyone expects you to read the whole manual and I don't believe anyone told you to read the whole manual. But it is listed under fuel system in the TOC if you had looked. I seem to find time to check it with a 2y/o, a 4w/o and running a business, if we are starting a contest.

Like I said to the last guy. Stop getting bent out of shape about a little ribbing. If you can't handle it you should limit your exposure to the internet.

Same here, fuel pump running after 10 hours

I have a 2012 4Runner with 11,000 miles. I came home last night at about 9:30 PM and parked the car in the garage (did not pump gas pedal, did not set parking brake). This morning at 7:30 AM I went into the garage and heard a buzzing sound coming from near the rear wheels of the car.

I turned the ignition on and off without cranking the engine, the buzzing continued. I started the 4Runner, ran it for about 20 seconds, and shut the engine off. Buzzing stopped.

I am always a believer in RTFM. I also dislike all the lazy people who spend enough time to create a new account to become a member here and then won't use the search function. That said, I really, really dislike people who screw around and put bad or misleading information out for everyone to see all in the name of a joke. Do me a favor: Google some problem with a 5gen 4runner and see where it takes you. Yep, it brings you to this forum and usually to the appropriate thread. Yes, this is the internet so beware that what you read is not always true but c'mon, if we all answered questions with BS the questions will soon cease. That's just a sad way to treat someone with a legitimate question.

i was googling a trans shifting issue and it brought me here i had posted in this thread in the past lol. so yea.. bad misleading information shouldn't be posted on here.. it's an information sharing forum.
