Fuel tank capacity?

I run mine very low & have put in up to 24 1/2 gallons several times. The last two gallons are always very tough to get in; must fill very slowly.

If you indeed put 24 1/2 gallons in you have not only fill up the hose going down to your tank but you also had some go into the Fuel Evaporation system, namely the charcoal canister, which if you do this too often you WILL have to replace it and possibly other parts of that system at some point since it's designed to only handle fumes and not liquid gasoline, that system is not cheap to have to replace some if not all of the parts!!!

Correct, there is a real the gas pump clicks off at a certain point. To prevent you from ruining your evaluation system.

What about the volume above Full?

I get that it’s about 20 gallons from E to full-up (with about 3 in reserve below E) but I can drive a long way before my gauge drops below F.

I would like to know how many gallons are burnt before the gauge drops below F. I don’t think that 5 gallons per quarter is accurate because that ignores the overfill (even when not overfilling past the click).

I suspect it’s more like 4 gallons per quarter plus another 4 above F (5 x 4 gallons = 20 + 3 left below E).

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
